FOOD-DRUG-FREE
Development of a portable miniaturized technological platform for the identification of drugs in food products
POR FESR 14/20
Project
The project involves the development of a portable wireless technological platform consisting of multi-purpose sensor units that allow the in-field identification and qualitative-quantitative evaluation of residues of pharmacologically active molecules in milk, eggs and honey.
The aim is their exclusion from the food chain. The project is part of a logic of construction of a supply chain food safety platform for rapid and efficient on-site monitoring of the raw materials entering the production and distribution process in order to reduce control costs and prevent production waste.
Cemas will deal with the development of mechanics, the manufacturing of sensor platforms and their integration in Lab-on-chip
